
FILM AND TELEVISION AUDITIONING TECHNIQUES
Competence in your audition techniques can make or break your career. Those that master this rather straightforward process, through practice and diligence, will be able to enjoy their acting career whether it is full time or part time and of course those that don’t – simply don’t last. This short course designed by V-Management will give each student ample opportunity to practice the fundamental skills of good audition techniques and help to equip them with all the necessary knowledge to be a standout in the world of casting. Some of the topics covered in this introduction to film and television include auditioning, different types of auditions, preparation to an audition, script analysis and performance, self esteem for the long run, professionalism and business basics.
CAREER CENTRE
Career Centre will develop the professional actor in you and provide you with preparation required to be filmed for television as an actor. V Management has designed this course especially for actors to help them in developing their acting skills, professionalism and basics of acting business essential in the acting industry. In particular acting and performance course will develop the necessary skills of acting industry such as movement techniques, voice projection, relaxation and concentration, characterization, placework, script analysis, audition techniques and the casting process, individual and group performance techniques just to mention a few.
TV PRESENTERS COURSE
V Management has designed a unique TV Presenters Course for those interested in the competitive craft. All presenting styles will be covered including news, lifestyle, weather, corporate videos and voiceover techniques. Our course will be structured and taught by Channel 7 TV Presenter Chris Parsons. Chris is currently presenting on Queensland Weekender which airs on Saturday afternoons. The 10 week course will cover necessary techniques and skills and you will walk away with a showreel that will be used to market you to both national and local stations and programs. This course will help those who wish to enter the field of presenting or simply further their skills.
V Management also holds workshops and short courses in voice-over training and American Accent Training.
